Chicken Tikka Biryani

Ingredients: CHICKEN TIKKA BIRYANI
FOR THE CHICKEN
400 grams chicken breast cubed
marinate in
1 cup sour yoghurt
2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste
1 tablespoon RAJAH TANDOORI MASALA ( u can use any brand)
1 tablespoon of MDH garam masala ( or any other)
red chilli powder
juice of 1 juicy lime and salt
mix the chicken with this and marinate for about 2-3 hours
FOR THE RICE
2 cups basmati rice soaked for 30 mins
put about 6 cups of water to boil with salt and add the following…
4-5 cloves
1 small stick cinnamon
2 bay leaves
when it boils for about 5 minutes add a few strands of NITU DIDIs PURE SPANISH SAFFRON
then add the rice and cook rice till its abt 90% done. drain rice and keep in a plate to dry,

Method: TO ASSEMBLE
in a wok, heat some oil, ghee or butter and add the chicken pieces. when u see the chicken starts oozing out water add the basmati rice. give all a big mix n cook till chicken pieces are done. should be about 6-8 minutes not more. add lots of coriander leaves, check seasoning and serve.
ITS A DELCIOUS BIRYANI AND EASY to make
u can also add raisins and nuts, i didnt coz my husband doesnt like.
